Some questions we get asked a lot:
We do not accept insurance as a form of payment. All of our fees, accepted forms of payment, and the reason behind our decision not to accept insurance, can be found on the Services and Fees page. We can provide a superbill upon request.
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Couples or Family sessions are generally 75 minutes. We also offer extended sessions, which are 90 minutes. Talk with your therapist if you feel you would benefit from additional time.
Your appointment reserves time for you. Because that time is reserved, we request that cancellations or rescheduling needs are communicated at least 24-hours in advance of your session time. If they are canceled less than 24-hours in advance, or if you do not show for a scheduled session, we do charge the full session fee.
Cancellations can be made online through your client portal, or by emailing or texting your therapist directly.
Therapy is very individual. While there is no way for us to accurately predict how long your goals will take to reach, we can offer a few ideas:
Just like no two clients are alike, no two therapists are the same. Different educations, different perspectives, and different approaches, make us as unique as they come. If you've tried therapy before and it didn't feel like you and the therapist connected, try again! Look for someone who specializes in your area of need, or creates a feeling of safety when you meet with them.
A good relationship with the therapist matters! Take your time and find the right fit!
Therapists at Sharree Jensen LLC, Melinda Bonham LLC, and/or My Wholehearted Therapy LLC do not provide forensic, evaluative, or court-related services, including but not limited to:
Our role is strictly therapeutic and does not include providing opinions or documentation intended to influence legal outcomes.
If a therapist is required to participate in legal proceedings for any reason—including but not limited to subpoenas, testimony, court orders, depositions, or consultation with legal counsel—the client is responsible to compensate the therapist at their full hourly rate for all time spent. Billable time includes, but is not limited to:
Because legal and court-related services can involve significant fees, there may be circumstances in which we need to pause or end therapy if the financial burden becomes overwhelming.
